Palm Crosses

Churches nationwide distribute these beautiful handmade crosses on Palm Sunday and Easter. These crosses are appropriate for Pastoral visits, Bible Study, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, etc. This outreach mission was founded in 1965 by a missionary working in Tanzania, he noticed the poverty and developed a way for farming families to augment their income, improving their living conditions.

The palm fronds are harvested from the local forest, dried and handwoven into crosses. Each cross is approximately 6" x 4-1/2" and sold in bags of 50. Neither the trees nor the crosses have been artificially treated and are environmentally safe. 

We handle the crosses as nearly a non-profit item, with 20¢ per cross going directly to African missions. Call for samples: 1-800-521-3440

Hand Folded Palm Crosses

Crosses are made from the mature leaf of the Sabal Texana.  Crosses will dry out in open air much faster than strips and altar decor so please keep sealed in bag as long as possible.

Fresh palms made into crosses. Perfect to hand out to members of the congregation. 100 crosses per bag.

Palm Care Instructions:

• First step - PULL ALL BAGGED PALMS OUT OF BOX! It is best to store all palms upright.  Avoid stacking bags flat on top of each other if possible.
• DO NOT TEAR BAGS OPEN YET! Wait until you are ready to use or arrange them.  If bags are opened prematurely it is best to reseal them with tape or clips until required.
• KEEP COOL!! "40-50 degrees preferable!"  DO NOT FREEZE!! If no refrigerated space is available, keep in WELL-LIT AIR-CONDITONED space to prevent molding. DO NOT PUT NEAR HEAR SOURCES!!
• CHECK YOUR ORDER! Please call early regarding any concerns so they can be addressed in a timely fashion.
