Strips are made from the immature leaf of the Sabal Texana tree.  Strips are not cut uniformly but will fall within the given range of its description.  Wispy strands will sometimes accompany your strips but can be easily removed.

Short Palm Strips - Yellow Palm Strips

Fan Altar Decor

Fan Palm are large leaves approximately 24" wide. Usually requires some pinning or taping to retain the large "fan like" shape. Lighter green color harmonizes well with date palm, a very effective display.  Fan palms packed 4 per bag.

Fan leaves are cut from the Washington tree family.  Fan leaves naturally come with a thin layer of fuzzy brown tomentum commonly seen near the base of the leaf.  We remove as much as we can without damaging the leaf.

• PRIOR TO ARRANGING: 
  
• Cut the stems at a 45 degree angle 1/8 of an inch above bottom end of stem.
• Place in ICE WATER for 1-3 hours.  This will add luster to any dry appearing altar decorations.
• Leaves that come in tightly folded or "closed" will open up when placed in water.
• KEEP WATER IN ARRANGEMENT VESSEL! This will keep palms lively up to and through your service.

Date Altar Decor

Date palms are 30" to 36" in length. In addition to decorating the altar, many churches use the date palm leaves in the entrance procession. This leaf requires no "pinning" to form bouquets, since its natural shape is perfect for displaying. Date palms packed in a bag of 4 leaves. 

Date leaves are cut from the Phoenix Robusta tree.  The more mature the leaf, the darker the green.

Mediterranean Fan Altar Decor

Classic palm shape in a hand-size package, just right for the choir, children's procession or worship leaders.  The Mediterranean Fan measures 16" to 18" high.  Mediterranean palms are packed 8 leaves per bag.

Mediterranean leaves are cut from the Chamaerops Humilis tree.  These have a blue-ish shade and will naturally come with a waxy white tomentum on the surface of the leaf.  We remove as much as we can without damaging the leaf.

Churches nationwide distribute these beautiful handmade crosses on Palm Sunday and Easter. These crosses are appropriate for Pastoral visits, Bible Study, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, etc. This outreach mission was founded in 1965 by a missionary working in Tanzania, he noticed the poverty and developed a way for farming families to augment their income, improving their living conditions.

The palm fronds are harvested from the local forest, dried and handwoven into crosses. Each cross is approximately 6" x 4-1/2" and sold in bags of 50. Neither the trees nor the crosses have been artificially treated and are environmentally safe.
