Chalice and Paten with Ring-EW2936

This chalice represents the smooth lines of the Florentine style which developed in Florence, Italy during the first part of the fifteenth century, within the great Renaissance period. The highlight of this piece is the fire enamel medallions on the base depicting the Four Evangelists against rich blue backgrounds, and a matching IHS medallion on the cup. Exquisite organic designs are engraved throughout the chalice. Includes a 6 1/4" paten with ring (not pictured).

9" high x 3 3/8" cup diameter. Holds 8 oz.
